Recently I saw GANDHI SLOGAN CACHET issued on Gandhi's First Death Anniversary - 30 Jan 1931 which is selling for $110 by "asianstamp" from Dubai.
Slogan reads "Sabko Sammati De Bhagwan" means ' May God grant Prosperity to all' !
Do you think it's a RARE CACHET ?
or
It's a BOGUS philatelic material (never issued or exist) by making RUBBER stamp ?
But how you verify this GANDHI SLOGAN CACHET or rubber stamp - India King George KG - Genuine or BOGUS ?
We know stamp Handbooks and Philatelic Yearly books cannot be trusted because of all incorrect information and not verified philatelic material are included in Handbooks which are nothing but BOGUS(never exists).
BOGUS philatelic material is not issued by GOVERNMENT POSTAL DEPARTMENT..
There are tons of it available on ebay/delcampe etc.
According to me all this Philatelic reading material is nothing but marketing tool for BOGUS material
Also you cannot trust online exhibit or stamp exhibition because it has all kinds of Forgery and Bogus included and also won medal because no one knows about it and they trust stamp handbooks and yearly philately publication or magazine..
In 2009 a stamp collector won medal with following Germany BOGUS philatelic material.!!
