India Stamp - BPA certificate

Recently on eBay "43amber" sold India stamp sold for $3000 with BPA certificate.!!

If there is no cheating involved such as not paying to seller then eBay will get lot of commission from this sale and stock holder will get benefit from this kind of transaction. (Disclosure : I own eBay stock and not planning to sell in 72 hours).

Yes there is lot of cheating going in Indian stamp collection were buyer don't pay seller or shill bidding etc so be careful when you think about buying stock based on what you see on eBay.

Most of the time (specially in stamp collection) it's all BOGUS were price is increased by shill bidding or fake bidding (buyer don't pay seller).

But also there is also lot of cheating in selling FORGERY rubber stamp applied on forged stamps so needs to be very careful.

I am not either writing (certifying)  that following is forgery or genuine because it will be very hard to find all information what kind of rubber stamp is involved as this are very  old stamps and difficult to find information.

Even if there is any information in some HANDBOOK or year book chances of that might have incorrect information which might be published to sell forgery material.

I had seen lot of GANDHI forgery material published in all kinds of Handbooks and website or exhibit to glorify Gandhi philatelic material which are nothing but BOGUS (which never exist) and forger can make lot of money.!!!

Stamp collection specially Gandhi stamps and British India stamps is about making money by providing BOGUS or forgery philatelic material.

You can still win medal in stamp exhibit with this kind of BOGUS material as philatelic judges are not aware of this or keeping their eye closed as they know what's going on.!!

So what do you think about this stamp and eBay tranasction ?

1) Did eBay/PayPal got commission from this sale ? (about 15%)

2) Do you think this is genuine philatelic material ?

3) Do you trust Expert Certificate ?

Don't you think it's  another way  of "Art of making money : Philately Greed.!!"

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2013/01/art-of-making-money-philately-greed.html

Read my following blog post about FAKE AND FORGED Gandhi stamps and philatelic cancellation and decide what are chances of FORGERY.

It' easy to apply RUBBER stamp and make some used stamps with affixing on piece of paper or envelope.

Classic forgery rubber stamp Indian Embassy of Nepal.

India stamp used in Nepal (abroad)
http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2011/05/nepal-indian-embassy-mahatma-gandhi.html

Also chances of getting caught is less because it's USED by applying rubber stamp, keeping in soil  or exposing to sun and make it toned.!!

After reading all of the above blog post it's now up to you to decide about India stamp.

Don't you think chances of forgery is higher after looking all of the above blog posts.?

QV India used aboard - Queen Victoria Zanzibar stamp

In my previous blog post I wrote about 99 used covers from India with QV stamps or Queen Victoria stamps, KG stamps or King George stamps for $23.!!

Yes $23 for 99 covers from British India with QV stamps or King George Stamps.!!

Now if you see following auction were "ashokmehta1955" is selling India used abroad  stamp of QV in Zanzibar for $540.!!!

Look at the difference in price. $540 for two stamp on piece of paper !!

Now do you really think this QV India used aboard - Queen Victoria Zanzibar stamp is genuine cancellation (rubber stamp) from Zanzibar or just a rubber stamp applied to it?

Reason for my suspicious that it's very easy to make rubber stamp and applied on any old stamp and claim it as rare India used abroad.!!

We had seen lot of FORGERY rubber stamp so chances of this QV India used aboard - Queen Victoria Zanzibar stamp is also very high.!!

Also seller is currently selling following some BOGUS Gandhi stamp cancellation.!!

Read more about it and you will quit collecting rubber stamps.!!

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2014/10/gandhi-jayanti-international-day-of-non.html

So if someone can make this fancy rubber than it will be very easy to make 100+ year old rubber stamp as no one knows what it looks like.!!

So what do you think about QV India used aboard - Queen Victoria Zanzibar stamp ?

Don't you think it's tempting to make this kind of rubber stamp and  claim it as QV stamp used abroad.!!

Forgery in Queen Victoria stamps is widely available.

In past I wrote about Forgery cancellation on East India Company stamp from Penang straits cancellation. You can see that forgery cancellation of India used abroad in following screenshot of my blog.

Want to read in detail than click following link.

Now what do you think about Queen Victoria India used abroad stamp.?

Is it Genuine or Forgery?

When you compare stamp of Queen Victoria used abroad with Penang strait cancellation on India stamp used abroad it make my brain wiggly.!!

In past we had seen India USED abroad Gandhi stamp. It was used on Tibet cover and stamps, India Gandhi stamps and Nepal Indian Embassy Cancellation, which was not even  sold under $10.!!

It's a real true example of India used abroad on 2 different countries.!! But it's a FORGED cover.!!!

If you want to research more about that then please click following link.

Now don't you think all this INDIA USED ABROAD cannot be trusted ?

To me it's nothing but to make money from new collectors!!!

If you don't believe that then please check out my other blog post to know more about how to cheat new collectors by making them think about high priced Gandhi philatelic material is only thing to collect or invest in it.

It will open your eyes that indeed this can happen, but it's already happening and you might be one of the victim like ME.!!!

So BEWARE what you are collecting and why are you collecting.!!

Read my following blog post to understand about stamp collection in DECLINE.!!

1) A Hobby in Decline : 1948 Gandhi USED cover case study.!!
2) A Hobby in Decline.!! - Part-2
3) How to invest when philately price is dropping.

If you see stamps are not even selling or selling like 5-10 times lower their value than mentioned in catalog.!!

There is nothing RARE or Scare in philately because this hobby is in downward trend because experienced collectors are loosing interest because value is not appreciating and new collectors are not coming in to this because there are lot of other things to do for them such as playing video games on Nintendo or X-box , social networking on facebook or google+ or  surfing on web through internet or SMS through iphone or android or watch games such as cricket, football or basketball.!!

Only way philately can sustain is to stop cheating in this hobby. Yes CHEATING.!! which is what you will see in order to increase value artificially by inflating the price by SHILL bidding, not paying to seller or mutual understanding cancelling transaction and lot more.

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

1) 1948 Stamps False hope of Riches?
2) 1948 Gandhi Stamps: Are False hope of Riches - Part II ?
3) 1948 Gandhi Mourning Private FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part III?

5) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
6) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?
7) Indian Philately Exposed
8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

I hope all the above will help while making decision in investing stamps and to avoid getting CHEATED.!!

Now don't you think it does NOT make sense STAMP INVESTING!!

Thanks

India King George Used covers stationary post card - British India stationary post card

Recently I saw 99 different used covers of India King George  mixed with King George stamp stationary post cards, which were  sold for $22.50.!!!

It also has used cover with two 1948 Gandhi Stamps and King George stamps.

Yes, only 22.50 for total 99 different postal history covers which are more than 100+ years old from India.!!

Looks like there was no cheating like SHILL bidding in this auction because stamp value did not increases or # of bids or bidder were also less.!!

Majority of them are British India stationary postcard or post cards of King George and Queen Victoria stamps.

After looking to this don't you think that there is no value in stamp collection ?

Following are India King George India used covers stationary post card

India King George India used covers stationary post card

Look at the quantity and price of  India King George Used covers stationary post card - British India stationary post card.

No cheating on this auction of India King George India used covers stationary post card auction like SHILL bidding (seller bid on it's own item with other different id) because there were only 4 bidders and 4 bids.

If there was cheating then price will go around 2000-3000$!! and 30-50 bidders.!!

So what do you think about stamp collection ?

Don't you think it's decline ?

But you still some high price items which are nothing but increase using SHILL bidding or buyer don't pay to seller.!!

To know more about this kind of activity read my following blog post and think what are the possibilities in cheating, glorification, SHILL bidding, FAKE, Forgery etc.

Clean India campaign - Swachh Bharat - What we can DO ?

On Mahatma Gandhi's 145th birthday, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched Clean India campaign - Swachh Bharat  a countrywide campaign to clean up India and asked people to take a "pledge to affirm to remove garbage, dirt, pollution etc".

I think as a Gandhi Stamp Collector we need to clean up all Forgeries, Bogus , Fake postmark, special cancellation from the philatelic covers.

Don't you think this is very small task compare to Clean India campaign - Swachh Bharat!!

It's Mahatma Gandhi’s Vision for Indian Society to clean India and he was also doing it everyday in order to achieve it.

What we can do to help Prime Minister of India to clean India campaign.?

In order to achieve true result of clean India we need to start cleaning every where not only just picking litter or dirt.!!

Clean India means to stop corruption, injustice, greediness etc and which all is wide spread or  involved in stamp collection.

I think we can do this cleanup in our stamp collection by just exposing Bogus or Forgery item so we can be proud of it.

Of course cleanliness start from home and Gandhi Stamp Collection is our home.!!

So let's cleanup if you have in your STAMP EXHIBIT, Handbooks, Philatelic books, magazine, yearbook etc instead of glorifying and trying new collectors  to invest in stamp.!!

Write in your yearbook or philatelic blog about this bogus stamp instead of getting SCARED from other collectors.

Look at following picture of our (gandhi stamp collectors) HERO how hard he was working.

Following is one of the cleanup I would like to do.

India GANDHI SERVICE STAMP issued in 1948.

FAKE OR BOGUS because it was never overprinted by Indian Post and Telegraph but it is widely glorified as a RARE stamp and it is selling for $200,000.!!!

If this money is used in Clean India campaign - Swachh Bharat it can cleanup 10 small villages in India and also have toilets in every home.!!

OMG.!!

Recently I revisited my previous blog post about letter of Jal Cooper (famous philatelist and dealer) selling 1948 Gandhi SERVICE stamp.!!

We know that 1948 Gandhi stamp was 4th stamp issued by India in 1948 in set of four.

But there were very few printed  with overprint SERVICEon it specially for Governor General of India.

(we have read only in philatelic handbooks, magazine, yearbooks, exhibit as we don't know exactly what happen during that time)

Not sure who printed this overprint as I read on some stamp exhibit that even Indian Postal Department were opposed to printing overprint SERVICE on stamps as per philatelic evidence.

You cannot rely on philatelic evidence such as Handbooks or pamplets or philatelic yearbook or stamp exhibit or even catalog because everyone wants money.!!

Chances are that Indian Postal Department might be not aware of this SERVICE overprint stamp.!! (all underground activity, and no one cares.!!)

I don't believe this oveprint SERVICE stamps are real. It's an interesting story and I certainly respect people who believe these are literally true, but I don't. I see no evidence for this SERVICE overprint stamp.

Above 10 Rupees Overprint stamp was sold for $200000.!!

Can't believe it how to turn a piece of paper with overprint in to $200000, What a brilliant idea.

In past I wrote blog post about this India 1948 OVERPRINT Gandhi SERVICE stamps.

Click to read and than decide what's going on with your collection.!!

Overprint stamps - 1948 Gandhi SERVICE stamp selling are BOGUS ?

Governor General was thinking he was KING ?

Most Expensive stamp of India as well as world ?

Governor General was not using GANDHI SERVICE stamp.!!

Why not first stamp of India had OVERPRINT SERVICE on it.?

Most Valuable stamps - R U Kidding.!!

India First Stamp after Independence Flag with SERVICE stamp

My personal opinion is that Governor might even don't know about this OVERPRINT Gandhi SERVICE stamp.!!

But some how Jal Cooper was selling this stamp and making huge money at that time.!!

Not sure how Jal Cooper was selling government property.

Not sure how Jal Cooper got hold of this stamps as per philatelic evidence (which is full of lies/incorrect info) it was very limited quantity printed and NOT FOR SALE TO GENERAL PUBLIC OR POST OFFICE.!!

It was only for Governor General of India usage.!!

Did Jal Cooper have any license to sell ?

OMG!!

THINK THINK!! what happen and you will never want this stamp in your collection!!

As we know (or we have read fantasy story about it) Gandhi SERVICE stamp was printed specially for Governor General of India for administrative purpose.

We all are stamp collector and we always get unique idea to create some rare philatelic cover to make it unique and rare.!!

So this might be someone idea to create unique and rare stamp.!!!

So whose idea was this to create Overprint stamp of Gandhi ?

Did someone overprint it instead of Indian Postal department or Swiss printer Courvoisier who printed this 1948 Gandhi stamps. ?

So how someone  got this stamps ?

Did someone got it from Governor General office?

Did someone stole it from Governor General PO ?

Did someone bribe it ?

Did someone created it (printed) it?

It's up to you to decide.

My personal opinion is that there was no official overprint SERVICE stamp of Gandhi.

It's nothing but fantasy story which is glorified by stamp collectors, Philatelic Handbooks, stamp magazine, blogs, website, auctioneer etc.

Some investor think this as a stamp INVESTMENT !!

I consider a piece of paper.!!

This is how everyone makes money.!!

To me this proves that GANDHI SERVICE Stamp is nothing but BOGUS.!!

Jal cooper was making lot of money in 1949 by just selling SERVICE overprint stamp.

Rupees 15 per copy or block of four for 50 rupees.!!

Look at the profit Jal Cooper got by selling this stamp. 1 1/2 anna ( 10 paise) which is 1/10 of the rupee and got 15 rupees in a year.!!

If this much money was made I will also forged this stamp and start selling in 1949.!!

In 1948 gold price was 95 rupees for 10 gms.!!

Even magazine cutout  & letter was sold for $400 by eBay seller "rohit98103"

Did eBay got it's commission $40 from this sell ? Because in past I saw buyers were not paying to seller  or it was just shill bidding.!!

Did someone created this Forgery of Jal Cooper letter ?

To make fantasy story more interesting there were covers made with stamps.

Following are some of the FORGERY cover or piece of paper made with stamps by applying FORGERY OR BOGUS rubber stamp of Governor General.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2012/09/king-george-vi-stamp-and-gandhi-service.html

It's a fantasy story about a Gandhi SERVICE stamp and we all think it's REAL like all princess story.!!

4) 1948 Expensive Gandhi FDC : Are False hope of Riches - Part IV?
5) 1948 Gandhi Stamps Early Usage cover :  Gandhi Stamps Are False hope of Riches - Part V?
6) Maxi Card sold for $5100 with 1948 Gandhi Stamps - False hope of Riches - Part VI?

8) Indian Philately Exposed - Part II
9) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
10) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?

So let's cleanup if you have in your STAMP EXHIBIT instead of glorifying and trying new collectors  to invest in stamp.!!

Gandhi Jayanti - International Day of Non Violence or stamp collectors CHEATERS day.!!

Tomorrow is Mahatma Gandhi 145th Birthday. In India it is celebrated as "Gandhi Jayanti" and whole World referred October 2nd as The International Day of Non-Violence as per United Nations.

But BEWARE of CHEATING on this date from Gandhi Stamp Collectors/Dealers because it's very easy to make money by creating rubber stamp and call it as a special cancellation from unique city.

In past I EXPOSED this activity by writing following blog post, but this again to remind others who don't know.!!

FAKE Gandhi postmark cancel from Germany on 2nd October 2009 ???

Beware it's October 2nd.!!

In 2009 some Gandhi stamp collector decided to create rubber stamp and called it as Special Cancellation on October 2nd .

It was not approved by Postal Department of Germany or it was not authorized to used Emblem of India on rubber stamp by Indian Embassy in Germany (so it's punishable by law).

Following is the crown jewel of FAKE or BOGUS special cancellation issued on Gandhi Jayanti.!!

99% of Winnenden or Schwaikheim, Germany people might have not idea about Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday.!!

Not sure Barton Hoti or Carola Franzspock or Andrea Helsch really got this cover with special cancellation? (Identity theft or Bogus!)

Looks like same person(hand writing) is sending it to different names and address.!!

It's still available for $60 on eBay.!! Click following link to see it.!!

Germany-2009-Gandhi-Cancel-Cover-Extremely-Rare

It's easy to cheat by doing following and still create a big splash in stamp world.!!
  • Inform your philatelic friends and authors of various philatelic weekly news letter or philatelic magazine about upcoming special cancellation.
  • Create BOGUS philatelic material with rubber stamps on varieties of envelopes.
  • Send some of them your philatelic friends and also to authors of blogs, website, newsletter etc.
  • Now some of the philatelic friends will display this in their stamp exhibit and might win medals.!
  • Now start selling it on eBay with different id.
  • Shill bidding to increase price
  • Sell it at Fix price auction.
Don't you think it's simple.

Yes this was applied in 2009 Germany Winnenden special cancellation issued on October 2nd to celebrate Non -Violence day were there was High School shooting/massacare happens were 26 people died.

No shame to make money.!!
  • In 2009 during September/October time frame I read in weekly newsletter from India that Germany is issuing Special cancellation on  Mahatma Gandhi's birthday 2nd October to celebrate Non Violence Day.
  • Some of the my philatelic friends(not any more) got this special cancellation cover to their address.!
  • Some of the famous stamp collectors(philatelists) won medal with this BOGUS special cancellation.
  • It started selling on eBay (seller from India) at $100.
  • Some of them were also bought at that price.(FAKE buying, to show others!!)
As a new comer in stamp collection I thought this is insane and crazy. So I decided to dig more and found out that more by contacting various German official and  local philatelic club members through email and all of them reply that this is BOGUS.

  • It's not officially issued by Germany Postal department
  • None of the stamp collectors in Winnenden knew about this. ( I contacted local philatelic society)
  • Even local famous Gandhi Collectors don't know about this special cancellation even though address on this BOGUS cancellation on the covers were next to them.!!
It's plain and simple.!!
