MOST EXPENSIVE STAMP

Hello Gandhi Philatelist,

Only 200 Mahatma Gandhi 10 Rs. stamps were overprinted with "Service" and issued for the use  of  Governor General of India, making it the world's least printed stamp. (It all started here.!!, why only 200 stamps.!!)

Of the hundred stamps that were overprinted with "Service", a few were gifted to dignitaries(looks like they are benefited), while most remain at the National Archives, Postal Museums, etc.

Less than 10 copies of Gandhi 10 Rupees SERVICE stamps reside in private hands and that's why this stamp makes expensive stamp which was sold for $200,000 and if it is genuine stamp with cancellation from  governor post office then sky is the limit.!!!

But you can find Genuine copy of used Gandhi SERVICE stamp as all are FORGED and then shill bidding to make it expensive so others will think this are real stamps and cancellation on piece of paper and even also on envelope. All is BOGUS.!!

Read my previous blog post about Gandhi Service stamp and be SAFE.!!

1) Gandhi SERVICE overprint stamp price fell from $1009 to $1.!!
2) How can you tell that Gandhi SERVICE stamp is FAKE or Forgery ?
3) Maryland forgery of Gandhi SERVICE stamp is $450. Is it shill bidding?
4) Gandhi SERVICE stamp on piece of paper with SUNDAY cancellation !!! ?

But following is not Genuine stamp or cancellation like we all see it on piece of paper.
If this was genuine then it will get more money than Geneva auction house David Feldman sold a 1948 10 Rupee Mahatma Gandhi stamp of India for the incredible price of  €140,000 (US$ 200,000) when buyer's premium is included.

Reason for getting more than $200000 is because it is one of kind USED  with Governor General Cancellation. Never seen this Genuine stamp!!

We all know when it's rare (very very rare) then only it will be expensive and famous. Also it should be from some well know country, otherwise even if it is rare stamp than also it will be not famous and it will be not expensive.

Expensive stamps are actually made rare so it will eventually become expensive.

Think about 10 Rupees Gandhi SERVICE stamp from India and apply logic there why it is expensive. First all it was only printed 100 stamps for use only by Governor General of India. (Government usage only). So how in the world normal collector will have this stamp. According to me if general people cannot buy it at face value than it is not consider a stamp.

Think if KING of England decide in 1850 than only King will use first stamp and it will be only with King. If that was the case than penny black stamp will be billion dollar right now.!! But it's available under $100, because this stamp were printed in large quantity and it was available to general public.

Some of the rare stamps are which were printed in error and it was available to general public during that time. One of the famous example is INVERTED JENNY. Recently this stamp was sold for 2 million dollar for block of four.

You will think your collection also become rare and has expensive stamps, but chances are very less unless you start CHEATING.!!

Mint stamp with Gandhi SERVICE was for sale on eBay for $225000.!! Following is screenshot.

You can click following link to read above blog post where chances of expert certification is forged too.

http://gandhistampsclub.blogspot.com/2011/01/expensive-gandhi-stamp.html

But after looking following screenshot I am 100% sure that all that 1948 Gandhi SERVICE stamp on piece of paper with Governor General Camp PO is Forgery.

Recently I saw 10 Rupees Gandhi SERVICE stamp on piece of paper with cancellation of Governor General PO.

Seller is selling as REPLICA or facsimile so all Gandhi SERVICE stamp that we had seen in my previous blog post are indeed Forgery with rubber stamp of Governor General.!!

It was sold for $7.!!

Thanks "ma-collectorshop" from Slovakia for selling it as facsimile instead of telling world as Genuine like other seller on eBay.!! or RE-USE of  BPA or RPLS expertiziation certificate and try to sell it as genuine or increase price by SHILL bidding and make other collector think that it's Genuine.!!

Following are some of the Gandhi SERVICE stamp which in past were on eBay or Declampe for sale.!!

To me it's all look same stamp and cancellation as if "ma-collectorshop".

Stay away from 1948 Gandhi SERVICE stamp from India or any 1948 Gandhi Stamp Philatelic material from India otherwise you will regret big time.

(On side note stay away from 1911 First Aerial Post from Allahabad or any British India stamps and philatelic material.)

It's brutal out there. Everyone is looking for your money.!!

Now I am also 100% sure about all kind of forgery in Indian Philatelic material such as "1911 First Aerial Mail", "Germany 2009 Gandhi special Cancellation from Winnenden", "King George", "King Edward" and every expensive  rare philatelic item.!!

So beware what are you collecting.

So you need to think always before you buy otherwise you will regret.

To me at the end it will be JUST PIECE OF PAPER.!!

If you have money to throw away then start collecting  British India Stamps, 1948 Gandhi Stamps and Philatelic material and you will have a PIECE of PAPER (with no peace of mind.!!).

Still cannot decide then read following blog post which might help you.

Still not decided then my opinion is AVOID it all the cost.!! and have peace of mind instead of worrying you are buying Genuine material.!!!

To me all Gandhi Philatelic material available ( specially before 1950) looks FAKE or Forgery as it is very hard to find Genuine stuff and as new collectors (like me) wants to collect, so some greedy experienced collectors/dealers will provide  all of us as well as experienced collectors.!!

Still want to do research  then please read my other blog post and have fun.!!
